We're a showroom, not a clinic — here's where to be properly examined
OneSpecs sells and fits glasses and contact lenses, but we don't carry out eye examinations ourselves. For a thorough, professional eye examination and prescription, visit The Eye Clinic at Rondels — our sister practice, based right here on site.
1. Eye examination
A thorough, unhurried eye examination at The Eye Clinic at Rondels, our sister practice run by Optometrist Ian Kenny, right here on site — with time taken to explain everything clearly.
2. Your prescription
Your Optometrist gives you a prescription for glasses and/or contact lenses, valid wherever you choose to use it.
3. Choose your glasses
Bring your prescription to OneSpecs and we'll help you choose from 3,000+ frames — or use it at contactlenses.je.
The Eye Clinic at Rondels
An unrivalledly comprehensive eyecare service
Our sister eyecare practice — thorough, unhurried professional eye examinations, contact lens fittings, and medical eyecare, with time taken to explain everything clearly. Run by Optometrist Ian Kenny, based right here on the ground floor of our building with full disabled access and plenty of parking right outside.
Because a proper eye examination and the professional dispensing, manufacture and fitting of your glasses are so closely linked, we recommend being examined at The Eye Clinic for the best possible match with your new glasses — though of course, we're also happy to make up glasses from a prescription issued elsewhere.
The same familiar faces
Dispensing opticians Connie Pang and Peter Morton work across both OneSpecs and The Eye Clinic, so your prescription and your frame choice stay joined up, with the same people looking after you throughout. If it's easier for you, Connie or Peter will bring a suitable selection of frames down to The Eye Clinic — which is fully accessible — and dispense your glasses right there, so there's no need to come upstairs to OneSpecs.
Surgical consultations, available locally
For cataracts, laser eye surgery and lens replacement, The Eye Clinic offers consultations in Jersey in association with Anderson Eyecare — so the first conversation about surgery doesn't mean a trip off-island.
